Galactic Holeworm

Galactic civilizations have uncovered a network of wormholes and started colonizing the galaxy. However, the holeworm the burrowed the wormholes has awakened and wants to devour them. You are this holeworm. 🪱🌌

Press space to change direction and W/S or UP/DOWN to zoom camera, P to pause.

Your length is limited and displayed at the bottom of the HUD. When you make a loop you will get some of its length refunded. The smoother the end of the loop is (the more flat the angle) the more of its length you get back. This is also hinted at by the red/green overlay you see before a collision.

When you cross a wormhole colonized from both ends by the same civilization they start preparing a strike that will cut you in half. Beware!

However, when you loop around some stars you will destroy these stars. If they are colonized you will even get some bonus length and you get way more if you catch many of them at once. Try to destroy all life in the galaxy (except yourself)! Good luck!

Fun fact: There are no textures in the game, it's all dynamically generated via shaders.
